Upper East Side:

View one of the most cultivating exhibitions of the summer. ‘Age of Empires: Chinese Art of the Qin and Han Dynasties’ is an international loan exhibit featuring extremely rare sculptures and ceramics that highlight archaeological discoveries of Chinese culture from the past 50 years. July 13th, 2017 –

Lincoln Square:

Explore out-of-this-world talent, literally and figuratively! Artists from all around the world will perform dance, music, opera and theater during the Lincoln Center Festival. The annual summer event is nothing short of spectacular and is free to the public.

A landmark landscape lays canvas to a stream of dazzling, colorful shapes. The New York Botanical Garden will host ‘CHIHULY’, an exhibition of Dave Chihuly’s early works. The 20 installations of Chihuly’s signature shapes will provide a must-see view. Jazz & Chihuly. 

July 15th, 2017 –

Governors Island:

Slip your flippers on and head down to the waterfront for the 10th annual City of Water Day. This FREE FAMILY FESTIVAL  is home to both land and water activities such as kayaking, boat tours, arts and crafts and live music.

July 16th, 2017 –

Upper West Side:

Celebrate National Ice Cream Day the right way! Grand Bazaar NYC will host the 2nd annual NYC Summer Ice Cream Blizzard at 10 a.m. Enjoy flavors and other artisanal goods that have never been tasted before! This one-of-a-kind event will donate profits to four local public schools, benefiting over 4,000 children.

July 17th, 2017 –


Book lovers rejoice! Take time out to relax and listen to some of the best authors representing Brooklyn’s finest independent bookstores. ‘Books Beneath the Bridge’ is the perfect summer night, consisting of readings, discussions and signings. Click here for more info. 

July 18th, 2017-


Grant the kids their wish and bring them to New Amsterdam Theatre for a showing of ‘Aladdin’. Join Princess Jasmine and Aladdin on a crazy adventure and help set the genie free. The show starts at 7 p.m. For tickets, click here. 

July 19th, 2017-

Upper East Side:

A pair of jazz icons in their musical glory. Benny Golson and Jimmy Heath share the stage once again in a night filled with quintessential compositions dating back to the 1950’s. The ‘Meeting of the Maestros’ will also feature the young, fiery trumpeter Jeremy Piet and other talented jazz musicians such as Kenny Washington and David Wong. July 20th, 2017-


Celebrate NYC ‘Good Beer Month’ with an array of cold beer and delicious food. Edible Manhattan presents a walk-around tasting with over 50 local and international breweries, wineries, distilleries and food vendors. Tickets going fast. 

July 21st, 2017-

Brooklyn / DUMBO:

Participate in extraordinary outdoor games when nightfall hits. ‘After Dark’ turns the streets of DUMBO into an arcade with wild street games. Centered around the Manhattan Bridge Archway Plaza, the ‘Come Out and Play Festival will also feature large physical video games all over the streets.

Randall’s Island Park:

The Panorama Stage adds unprecedented depth and color to the live music stagecraft with its 30’ tall ultra high definition video screen wrapping 170’ around the stage for an entirely immersive audio/video festival experience.
